The selection of Paymaxs by the New York Lottery has been an overwhelming success. The Lottery established a series of KPIs to evaluate the program, focused on customer acquisition, digital conversion, engagement, retention, downloads, redemption rate, and overall sales. To date, Extended Play has exceeded every goal set by the Lottery:
 

  • The New York Lottery Extended Play App performed 244% higher than other apps.
     

  • 55% of the digital players registered, using third-party ID verification. This is 11% higher than the mobile app registration rates.
     

  • The 30-day retention rate was 67% higher than other apps.

IN THE NEWS - NYL’S EXTENDED PLAY GAMES APP

The New York Lottery (NYL) launched its Gold Bar 7® Extended Play Game on April 30, 2019. The Extended Play Series (pulsed Double Diamonds®, Triple Stars®, Red Hot 777®) launched six weeks later. The Extended Play mobile app is designed to align new features with the pulses.

“Gold Bar 7s® is our third foray into the digital/instant game space, and we have learned a lot from it and each release thereafter,” said New York Lottery Director Gwen Dean.
